The Action Mapping Project (AMP) is located at the University of Washington, Tacoma. AMP uses novel participatory sketch mapping methods and spatial data modeling to generate high resolution maps, actionable data, and neighborhood dashboards that reflect the lived experience of residents.
The Tacoma-Parkland Youth Community Map is empowering middle-school and high-school aged youth to influence planning and policymaking processes in their own neighborhoods.
